Students received their Midwest Region Information Booklet today. This will be due on January 4, 2016 when they return from winter break. Students are to complete the information on each Midwest state using the link provided on this site under "Social Studies Midwest Region Booklet". Reading Log Students are expected to complete their daily reading log throughout winter break. Students will receive a double-sided reading log on Friday. Reading Challenge Students will complete the Winter Break Reading Challenge by selecting ten reading activities listed on the marshmallows. Students will cut and paste the ten marshmallows on the front sheet and decorate their mug. Please be aware that each reading activity should be at least 30 minutes. A total of 300 minutes should be dedicated to reading during winter break. Math Log Students are to go on IXL and ST Math during winter break on a daily basis. Skills they are practicing on must be recorded, along with the time spent, on the math log. Parents must initial on the last column. Students must complete a minimum of 65 minutes on IXL and 65 minutes on ST Math. Access to both IXL and ST Math can be found on this site under their respective names. If internet access or family plans will not allow your child to go on IXL and ST Math, please send me an e-mail at [email protected] Have a safe and wonderful break!

I have received complaints about issues with logging into ST Math from home. In an effort to combat this problem, bypass the activation code altogether and click on the "homework" icon. From there, students will enter their picture password to log into ST Math. Hope this helps!
